Foundation President Stepping Down

I have been president of the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Foundation for several years and feel it is time for new leadership. Also, I have difficulties driving and cannot make meetings easily. I therefore request your suggestions about candidates for president of the Foundation. Are any of you interested in the job? Do you have any candidates in mind? I look forward to your suggestions. It has been an honor and a pleasure serving the psychoanalytic community.George Weimer IV Our thanks to George Weimer, who has served for approximately ten years as president of the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Foundation.The president of the Foundation is ex-officio a voting member of the Board of Trustees of the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center and attends its regular meetings on the same basis as the chair of the Education Committee. As I recall, the trustees of the Foundation are to be appointed by the Board of Trustees of the CPC.I'm not sure how the president of the Foundation is selected. This would be spelled out in the bylaws of the Foundation. It's not in the CPC bylaws.This would be an excellent time to review the structure, function, and composition of the Foundation, as well as its future direction and its relationship to the Board, needs, and activities of the CPC.Norman A.
