Ninth Annual NAMI Walks in Cleveland

The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Greater Cleveland is proud to announce its 9th Annual NAMI Walks for the Mind of America. NAMIWalks ‘11 will step off in Greater Cleveland on September 24, 2011 at Voinovich Park in Downtown Cleveland.  Over the past eight years, NAMI Walks has raised more than $550,000 to support mental illness education, information, referral and advocacy on behalf of those with mental illness and their families.We anticipate NAMIWalks in 2011 to be our best Walk to date! What makes our event so special is the fact that we have excellent Sponsors from a vast spectrum of the community.  We have Sponsors from both large corporations and businesses to small local privately owned businesses.  From the new up-and-coming to the long established businesses, our organization offers sponsorship on a variety of levels reasonable for everyone.  Yet, we feel that each of our sponsors genuinely want to support NAMI Walks and NAMI Programs.  We believe our Sponsors want to partner with NAMI Walks to end the stigma and raise awareness.The sponsors who partner with NAMI generally see the advantages of being a sponsor and benefit from them.
