A large, appreciative audience gathered at the Center’s offices last Sunday to discuss the film, “The King’s Speech.”  According to Margaret Zerba, the discussion leader, audience participation was high.  The discussion ranged from history of Great Britain and the royal family to praise for the performances of Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush.  While not overly analytical, audience members did comment on how George VI was helped to recognize the connection between his formative years and his inability to speak in public.
